Team Soul aka S8UL Esports has now made another change to the roster and officially added Skipz and Saumay to their BGMI line-up. This is the second time fans will see a minor roster shake-up for the team following the departure of Spower back in July. Since then, the team has struggled a bit across recent tournaments.

The announcement came after multiple rumours regarding NinjaJOD leaving the team and joining Mogo Esports. This was later confirmed by ScoutOP after BMPS 2024 during a live stream, where he revealed that he is helping NinjaJOD look for a new team.

Saumay was already a part of the team prior to the BMPS and was among the playing four. Sadly, the team did not make it to the grand finals as they faced elimination due to various reasons. Fans, however, seem confused about why was Saumay included in the recent announcement.

The reason for this is quite simple. Ahead of the BMPS, Team Soul added Saumay to the tournament as a trial player, which was confirmed by Sid. At the time, Sid revealed that the final decision regarding Saumay would be taken after BMPS 2024, but he was sure to join the team.

Skipz on the other hand was previously a part of Gujarat Tigers’ BGMI line-up and had previously played for Blind Esports and Team Insane. Despite the team not succeeding as much, his consistent performance has landed him a chance at one of the best BGMI teams in the country.

A tumultuous second half for the BGMI community

Following BGIS, several popular teams have seen major changes. As mentioned above, NinjaJOD is reportedly moving to Mogo Esports and this will be his second shift. The same was the case for Spower who first moved from Carnival Gaming (CG) to Mogo Esports and is now back with CG.

On the other hand, TWOB let go of their BGMI line-up despite finishing 4th at BMPS and 8Bit along with Global Esports has temporarily halted their BGMI esports team operations.
