Team Liquid moves to BLAST Premier Fall Final after defeating NaVi once again

Team Liquid has done it again, taking down the top Counter-Strike team for the second time while also securing a ticket to the Fall Final after a huge victory BLAST Premier Fall Groups Grand Final. After an initial loss, Liquid went on to take both of the remaining maps and send NaVi to the Play-In.

The first time both of these teams clashed was in the upper bracket final. NaVi faced a surprising defeat, sending them to the lower bracket, while Liquid moved on to the Grand Final. Both teams once again faced each other after NaVi took down BIG.

This time, however, fans were a little sceptical of the outcome. The opening game saw a NaVi with an incredible first half, but fan confidence soon started to drop after Team Liquid made a huge recovery. Following a few back-to-back round losses, NaVi closed the game.

The second match also saw NaVi at an advantage, but this time, Liquid managed to take the game point thanks to NAF and Yekindar stepping up. Things weren’t easy for Liquid as the match went to overtime. After dominating both sides, Liquid took the game into the decider.

Each game was a rollercoaster for fans, with one team taking the lead while the other chasing down the score. Once again, NaVi saw a huge lead in the first half, and it looked like game over for Team Liquid. However, Liquid had one more in them as the team started another chase, only giving their opponents a single round in the second half.

One more chance for NaVi

Four teams who lost in the Grand Final will now be competing in the Play-In. Two of these teams getting another chance to qualify for the Fall Final. Ninjas in Pyjamas will be facing Astralis while Natus Vincere will go against Complexity.

FaZe Clan was recently eliminated by Ninjas in Pyjamas and will try their luck through the Fall Showdown. NaVi on the other hand have one last chance to qualify directly if they manage to defeat Complexity.
