Following his departure from Team Soul, popular BGMI player Spower have now signed with Carnival Gaming to continue his professional gaming journey. The announcement came just hours after Soul parted ways with the player, so fans wondering the next team for Spower did not have to wait much longer.

Spower has been a part of the BGMI community for quite some time but started gaining traction during his time in GodLike Esports. He later signed with Blind Esports back in 2023 and the entire roster was then acquired by Team Soul.

With the move to Carnival Gaming, the player has now joined the previous line-up of Team Soul, including some of the most popular names in the BGMI scene like Omega, Goblin and Hector. Alongside them, Spower will now be competing against his former team in the upcoming BGMI events.

Ex-Soul members have yet to prove themselves

Since the original team was formed this year in January, Carnival Gaming has yet to live up to its name. The team haven’t had any major wins under their name. The most recent BGIS 2024 also saw the team reach the grand finals, however, they were unable to impress and finished one of the biggest tournaments at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Adding Spower to the mix, the team is likely looking for a change in their gameplay approach. Furthermore, his signing comes after Akshat announced a break from competitive gaming.  Akshat also clarified that he is not joining another team and this is just a temporary break.

The team also does not seem like the team have any plans to say goodbye to any other player as they recently parted ways with their content creator Neyoo just two months later after he became the centre of one of the biggest controversies in the BGMI community.
