The Skyesports Championship 2024 recently made a big chunk of addition to the existing prize pool, and now all the 12 participating teams are locked in. The last few additions included Bleed Esports, PariVision and DMS to close the competing line-up.
Bleed Esports recently signed Nexa who was previously with G2 Esports. The upcoming event will be his first tournament alongside Bleed, and fans are quite happy to see him back in action so soon. PariVision is also a new entry into CS2 and is yet to make a name for themselves.
Event Format
The event is set to take place at ‘Taj Lands End’ in Mumbai and is a part of yearly event from Skyesports in order to popularize Counter Strike among Indian gamers. Furthermore, this will also allow Indian teams a chance to experience international level of Counter Strike.
All teams will start with group stages and will be divided into two groups of six. The group stage matches will be in an around-robin format, with the top three teams from each group making their way towards playoffs. The top teams will secure a spot in the semifinals, while the second and third spots will start from the quarterfinals. Playoffs will be played in a single elimination, with the winner taking home $120,000.

Furia Withdraws from Skyesports Championship
The previous list for the Skyesports Championship included Furia who have now decided to back down from the event. This came due to a conflict in schedule, as Furia is set to play at the Counter Strike Esports World Cup in Riyadh.

The Esports World Cup, set to conclude on July 21, while the Skyesports Championship will commence just a few days later. The team recently signed skullz and might be eager to test him out against some of the best teams across the globe. Replacing them is DMS, an underdog Russian team featuring h1te, sm3t, kAlash, sFade8 & AW.
