Resident Evil 4 Remake becomes the fastest-selling game with 10 million copies

Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 Remake has made a new record by becoming the fastest-selling game. It has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and is selling at half its price. The Resident Evil franchise is one of the all-time favourites for many fans. Now, the remake has sold more than 10 million copies, which is more than the original game.

It also became the quickest game to hit the 10 million mark. Resident Evil Village has sold more than 11 million units since 2021. Resident Evil 7 and the Resident Evil 2 remake together have sold more than 15 million copies. So, these games are working very well for the long term, and Capcom can rely on such games.

Resident Evil Remake storms 10 million mark

The remake version didn't hurt the original, though it lacks some of the original's essence. The combat mode is tweaked for gamers to enjoy while fighting zombies. The huge fan base the game has created over the years has also helped the game to achieve this milestone quickly. 

The new version of Resident Evil 4 Remake is sold for $ 20. Buying the game for this price is actually a good deal. Capcom is currently working on a new game, and it will be their next big game after many years of waiting. Capcom’s Monster Hunter World has previously sold 10 million copies in its first month. The RE4 remake is a more modernised gameplay with new enemy behaviour, updated graphics and enhanced story and dialogue. There are also optional side quests and challenges that gamers may take if they get enough from the game. 

The game was originally released in 2005, and the remake stays true to its core and storyline. It is available on platforms like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. The game was released on March 24, 2023, and it is now one of the best-selling games for Capcom.
