For the first time ever, Krafton is hosting the PUBG Mobile Campus Champions (PMCC) tournament in Africa. Teaming up with Infinix, the event features a prize pool of 10 million Nigerian Naira in the grand finals, with 16 teams competing for the top spot. The LAN event will take place on November 3 at Palms Shopping Mall in Lagos.
This is a huge opportunity for PUBG Mobile teams in Africa, with Krafton expanding esports in the region. Partaking in the tournament itself will further allow more exposure to the teams, and the top teams will be getting to play across various other tournaments.
Apart from the LAN tournament, there will also be various gaming influencers preset at the event along with various live performances including Nigerian music star Llona. These influencers include Boyka, Khalamanja, Noami, Tomide, Stefklay and more.
The entry to the event is free, however, the seats are limited and can only be acquired by registering a spot. However, those who are not able to secure a spot can watch the tournament over the live stream on the PUBG MOBILE Africa Official YouTube channel.

The PUBG Mobile Campus Championship is a tournament allowing campus students to take part and represent their school. It is a great initiative that allows a lot of talented players to shine at a young age, allowing them to pursue their dreams in the future.
Since PUBG Mobile is banned in India, Krafton India is hosting a similar event called Esports College Campus Tour 2024, featuring multiple games like Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Road to Valor, and Bullet Echo featuring a prize pool of Rs 2 crore.
