PUBG Mobile 7th anniversary to bring a new map

PUBG Mobile has had a spectacular 2024 with some incredible updates bringing new themed game modes and mechanics. The PUBG Mobile Global Championship was also a huge success, with Dplus securing the crown. However, the developers now seem to be gearing up for the 7th anniversary celebration with a teaser for the new map ‘Rondo’.

The short teaser revealed the upcoming, which will be regular-sized (8x8) similar to Erangle and Miramar. Rondo is currently available for PC but will be added to the mobile version of the game. The update, however, seems to be coming March 2025, so there is still time for Krafton to reveal more about the update.

New weapons and drop features

PUBG Mobile 7th anniversary will also introduce two weapons, a new SMG called JS9 and a non-lethal weapon called a stun gun that was introduced with Rondo. The stun gun will not kill your opponents but shock them briefly for you to style on them. There is also an EMP that will disable weapon sights and vehicles.

Another feature that is claimed to be coming is dual landing options, as players will be able to choose from two different drop planes going a different route. This will allow players to land on their preferred spot much easier. At the moment, it is unknown how many things will remain similar.

What else to expect from the PUBG Mobile 7th anniversary?

While each update for PUBG Mobile brings new events and cosmetics, an anniversary is celebrated on a much larger scale, with the developers not only introducing cosmetics and events but also adding new features to further enhance the player experience.

The 6th anniversary brought a login event featuring free rewards along with the addition of Home mode, allowing players to create their own base of operations. This not only added a cosy side to the game, but players could also invite friends to show off their skills outside of battle.

Similar features are also expected to come with the 7th anniversary for PUBG Mobile. Along with new events and cosmetic discounts. Limited-time game modes are also something players eagerly await, as they help introduce something new and keep the community engaged.
