Pokémon TV is back (Image - Nintendo)

Fans of the Pokémon series now have another thing to look forward to, as Pokémon TV is officially making a return in the form of a YouTube channel, after shutting down back in March 2024. An official announcement revealed that the channel will have full episodes, live streams, compilations and much more from the series.

“Welcome to the official Pokémon TV YouTube channel, where you can explore the world of Pokémon with Ash & Pikachu! Experience some of the most iconic moments from their adventure with our full episodes, live streams, compilations, and so much more!” the official channel description wrote.

Pokémon TV was first introduced back in 2010 and made an appearance as a standalone app across android, iOS and Nintendo Store that allowed fans to watch Pokémon shows for free. The closure of the app, with not return in sight, came as heartbreaking news for the fans.

Pokémon TV Launch Date

With Pokémon TV making a comeback, fans can continue watching shows if they missed out, along with other than live streams. The YouTube channel is currently up, but the shows will be available starting December 6. Having a YouTube channel also gives Pokémon a much wider audience to future announcement.

Standing as one of the biggest franchises, Pokémon have spanned across various entertainment medium like TV and video games which are quite popular and even an esports scene. Over the years, Pokémon games across various genres like card games, RPG and more have made their way across various platforms.

Some of the most popular titles in the series include Pokémon Sword & Shield, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Black & White, Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver and more. Sadly, a lot of them usually remain bound to the Nintendo Switch consoles.
