The PlayStation State of Play is one of the most awaited events by fans to get a glimpse of upcoming games. Luckily, the next State of Play will be held in February itself. As per a report from a popular insider, it can be as soon as next week sometime around Valentine’s Day.

Responding to queries, NateTheHate was asked if the State of Play is still happening in February following his previous announcement back in January, to which he replied positively. On being asked for an estimate of mid or late February, NateTheHate said, “What does your heart tell you?”

While not explicitly stating the date, His comment has led people to believe the stream will either be on Valentine’s Day or the same week. An official announcement from Sony is yet to come but, people have confidence in NateTheHate, thanks to his track record.

Ghost of Yōtei reveal expected during PlayStation State of Play

One of the most anticipated games people expect to be revealed is Ghost of Yōtei which is set to release sometime this year. Apart from the short teaser, there aren’t many details about the game. The State of Play will hopefully go into more detail regarding the story and world.

With Microsoft hosting Xbox Developer Direct earlier, people have been waiting for what PlayStation has to offer. Although every game showcased during the Developer Direct will also be landing on PS5, so it’s a double treat for PlayStation users.

What games will be revealed during State of Play?

Apart from Ghost of Yōtei, Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is also set to launch this year and is expected to be present during the PlayStation State of Play. Bungie which was acquired by Sony is also working on Marathon while Guerrilla Games is working on a live-service Horizon game.
