Controller users have now received another set of custom options. Both PDP and Microsoft have revealed new designs for the controllers including a Call of Duty theme by PDP for PS5 and Xbox along with translucent Xbox Elite 2 Controllers with colour options officially by Microsoft.

Ahead of the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 release, PDP have now revealed two new controllers, one for PS5 and the other for Xbox. The Victrix Pro BFG line-up is considered one of the best controllers for COD games and the new design called Field Op special edition is the latest entry. On the other hand, Xbox got a controller from the glow-in-the-dark line-up of Rematch Glow called Mister Peeks edition.

While both controllers look amazing, the PS5 variant comes with a hefty price tag with the Field Op special edition for Victrix Pro BFG priced at $199.99, although it does have ‘Hall Effect’ joysticks that prevent stick drift. The counterpart, Mister Peeks Rematch Glow for Xbox, is priced at $37.99.

Microsoft Reveals Translucent Xbox Elite 2 Controllers

The one department Xbox has everyone beat is the controller designs. While PlayStation also revealed its Chroma collection, the design is rather simple and there is not much to customize in official controllers. On the other had, the new translucent Xbox Elite 2 Controllers are some of the best looking controllers.

The Xbox design labs allow players to customize their controller and is the one thing that have PlayStation beat. Players can try different translucent body along with mix and match of colours. Using the lab, players can either make their dream design or a total abomination which can be equally fun.

There is also an option for custom engraving, although certain words are not allowed for reasons unknown. Do note that using certain add-ons will set you back over $170 which isn’t a cheap price to pay for a controller. There are also many great options with 3rd party licensed Xbox controllers.
