This year’s indie super hit title Palworld recently dropped its biggest patch that introduced the first promised Raid Boss in the game. The initial teaser for the Raid Boss was revealed almost a month ago through a YouTube video.

Not only that, the game has also added multiple new items and has made quality-of-life updates. The update is currently out on Steam, with Xbox receiving the same very soon. Let’s have a quick look -

Bellanoir

Players can now summon the Raid Boss ‘Bellanoir’ by using slabs at the new Summoning Altar. She is a gothic-style Pal that players can fight with their pals and can even have in their Pal collection. For those looking for a challenge, there is an “extreme” version of Bellanoir which is quite difficult to defeat.

One thing to note is that Bellanoir cannot be captured using Pal spheres. The patch note states that Raid Bosses cannot be captured, however, players will get Pal egg after defeating her. Players can incubate the egg and get Bellanoir, although it is not guaranteed and may require a few tries.

New Items and quality of life changes

There are also much-awaited items in-game like Recovery Meds, a Training Manual, Ability Glasses, New Buildings and much more. Pals also received some changes which will help players acquire some items like Pal Fluids, and Pal Oil more easily.

As for quality of life, there is a new passive ability called Mercy Hit. Pals with this passive can only reduce their opponents to 1 HP, which is perfect for capturing. However, if players do not wish to use Pals or cannot find one with the passive, they can use ‘Ring of Mercy’, which has the same effect on the player.

The new user interface will also tell players how many times they have captured a similar pal while aiming at them. Players can also change the size of damage numbers in settings. On the more cruel side, players can now force their Pal to work by interrupting their break time.

Alongside this, there are multiple other changes and bug fixes which take far too much time to list. The game is still in early access and future updates will add much more as per the developments.
