Palworld has completed one year in early access and the developers at Pocketpair have shared their plans for the game. Thanking the community for their support, the devs shared a roadmap for the game. The roadmap listed upcoming things across major updates for the game including more types of pals and tech to acquire
Additionally, there will be in-game collaborations starting with a Terraria collab that will be coming in 2025. As all good things must come to an end, there is also an end to the journey planned sometime in the future with a final boss. However, there will likely be a lot more things added to the game before that.
The most recent major update that came out last year was Feybreak which introduced a lot of new things and shot the game back up in popularity revealing that single-player games also hold a lot of potential. There is also a global community poll going on to vote for your favorite pal inside the game. Additionally, players can also provide feedback or suggestions for future updates of the game.

With an incredible release back in 2024 reaching the top three on Steam's concurrent player count, the game has gone through a lot, including a lawsuit from Pokemon and Nintendo that everyone saw coming from miles away. At the moment, it is unknown how long will the game take to finish, hopefully by the end of this year, we’ll be a lot closer to the final product Pocketpair wants to make.
