Doom Eternal and BioShock Remastered now available on via gaming

Amazon Prime members now have two iconic video game entries available as an October reward. Doom Eternal and BioShock Remastered can now be claimed alongside a few more entries across Epic Games, Microsoft Store and GOG. Both Doom and BioShock are two beloved video game franchises that shaped a lot of modern games we now see.

Doom Eternal is the follow-up to Doom 2016 and was equally popular on release, as id Software went back to its roots, giving players the classic Doom experience with modern visuals and fun yet challenging combat. There are also multiple time trials, secrets, and collectables that players can find simply by exploring the sections.

The game is available to claim for free till November 13, so there is no need to rush. Once done, players can install Doom Eternal through the Microsoft Store and enjoy the campaign. Do note that this only gives players the access to the base game and not the DLCs released.

BioShock on the other hand is considered one of the best atmospheric horror games that give players a concept of the dystopian world. While the story is great with memorable characters, the gameplay and atmosphere is what pulls in players.

The game is also considered an inspiration for several other titles which showcase a dystopian world or timeline. New players will likely find many things in new games picked up from BioShock. The game is available to claim till January 8, 2025, but it is highly recommended to claim and play it now through the GOG store.

Other titles in the mix

Apart from these two, there are also a few other games available in the mix. There aren’t exactly the breakout type games, but can be a fun experience to complete the campaign, especially DreadOut 2 which features a great concept, but a general complaint from fans was regarding the wonky combat system.

Here are the other limited games on Prime Gaming

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition (available till November 13)
DreadOut 2 (available till January 8, 2025)
Priest Simulator: Vampire Show (available till December 11)
The Gap (available till January 7, 2025)
