Unveiled during the Game Awards, the game is set around the TV series, and while there have been many other games that did not quite hit the mark in terms of gameplay, Netmarble is well-known for creating decent RPG titles.

“In Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, you will embark on a journey to restore your house's legacy, forging alliances through trials and betrayals while navigating a realm rife with intrigue, danger, and opportunity.” Netmarble wrote.

A familiar Westeros

As of now, the game will be releasing for mobile devices on both iOS and Android, so gamers can play the game on the go. Although it is unfortunate that there is currently no news on the PC port of the game, as carefully planned manual combat instead of letting characters fight mindlessly sounds much better.

“The game’s original storyline expands on that of the legendary TV series, allowing you to forge your own path amidst the power struggles of noble houses and the looming threat of what lies beyond the Wall,” they further added.

While players will see familiar faces, it is also revealed that there will also be untold stories in the mix. It will be interesting to see how much they will differ, as the initial trailer does reveal a large-scale battle against the White Walker army.

As of now, the exact premise for the game is yet to be revealed; however, as per Netmarble, the game is ‘faithfully crafted’. More details on Game of Thrones: Kingsroad are expected to come out soon.
