On Netflix, the renowned video game Clash of Clans is being brought to life as an animated series. The program is now in pre-production and will expand upon the popular worlds of two of the most popular video game franchises ever created, Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, both of which are owned by Supercell. Both were released on iOS and Android in 2012, and since then, fans worldwide have downloaded four billion copies and played 180 billion hours.
The show will center on a resolute but incompetent Barbarian who has to assemble a group of outcasts to protect their town and negotiate the hilariously ridiculous politics of war. Clash of Clans is coming to Netflix, according to a significant revelation made by the official Clash of Clans account on X, previously Twitter. "Sound the horns, raise the banners, and reinforce your village walls- Clash is invading @Netflix! We’re making a new animated series starring your favorite mustachioed Barbarian and his high-pitched, hog-riding friends. Charge!” the announcement read.
The X post included a video showcasing the numerous demands from fans for a Clash of Clans movie or television program. Since 2012, fans have been requesting this project, and the eagerly awaited series, Clash, is now bringing it to life. The idea was also revealed by Netflix, which also affirmed that the chaos and violence of the game will be reflected in the future series. The original and popular Clash of Clans animated videos were directed by Fletcher Moules (Entergalactic, Agent Elvis), who will also serve as the showrunner.

Fans are waiting for release of Clash of Clans series
The animation is being handled by Vancouver-based ICON Creative Studio, and he is joined by executive producer Ron Weiner (Silicon Valley, 30 Rock, Futurama, Arrested Development). "Clash has been a global gaming phenomenon for over a decade, filled with humor, action, and unforgettable characters perfect for an animated series adaptation," says John Derderian, Vice President of Animation Series at Netflix. "Working with the incredible team at Supercell, Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, we're bringing all the fun, chaos, and spirit of the world of Clash to life in a whole new way. We can't for fans old and new to experience the mayhem."
Fans had been anticipating the announcement of the Clash TV series, so it was big news. Since there had been a lot of interest in a Clash of Clans film or television show for years, Netflix was wise to invest in the idea. It was therefore not unexpected that the story quickly went viral on social media.
