Monster Hunter Wilds getting open beta for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
The much awaited Monster Hunter Wilds open beta dates have now been revealed by Capcom, allowing players across each platform to try out the game first-hand.
Capcom recently held another showcase for Monster Hunter Wilds, revealing more about the story elements, the open world and various monsters. Along with that, fans also got dates for another beta and will be available across all platforms. Players participating in the beta can also get a Pendant and an Item Pack on full release.
Those who are having a hard time deciding if they want to pre-order or simply purchase on launch now have a great opportunity to test out if Monster Hunter Wilds is fun enough to play solo or with friend/s. Furthermore, it will also be good to test out the performance as the requirements for the game are a bit demanding, although, it might be improved prior to the full release. Do note that the progress will not carry forward.

The new beta will provide players access to a story mission and a hunt. “In the Doshaguma Hunt, the goal is to defeat the alpha of the Doshaguma pack. Explore the vast locale on your Seikret and switch between two different weapon types on the fly as you experience the latest in hunting action,” Capcom said.
What’s even interesting is that the trial will allow players to team up with other people or NPCs using the SOS flare for co-op. “Both the story trial and Doshaguma Hunt can be experienced solo, or players can use an SOS flare to create a party of up to four players online or call in assistance from NPC Support Hunters,” they further added.
