Milestone day for fans waiting for the Grand Theft Auto 6 release

The Grand Theft Auto 6 waiting period has reached a new milestone: 500 days since the release of its first trailer. The year 2025 arrived three months ago, and we have already seen many big releases in the game industry, like Monster Hunter Wilds and Assassin’s Creed: Shadows.

But we haven't heard anything from the Rockstar Games regarding the most-awaited Grand Theft Auto 6. The developers' last open-world GTA game was released a decade ago, and many fans are still patiently waiting for the next edition.

Last year, Rockstar released the official trailer of GTA 6, and many rumours said the game would be released this year. But it’s been 500 days since the trailer was released, and we still don't know when the game will be released. 

Many expect the marketing for the game to start by the end of this year. Fans are still waiting for its second trailer, and many expected the second trailer to hit at the start of 2025. The game could get released from September to November, and there will be no delay.

GTA 6 Launch date

Take-Two Interactive is the creator of iconic games like Grand Theft Auto, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, and Mafia.  They are now ready to publish Mafa: Old Country on August 8. This means they don't want two of their best games to clash in a short period.

There are also many other games like Borderlands 4, NBA 2k26, releasing in the same month. So the slots for August and September are already filled. So we predict the GTA6 to launch in November, which will be the perfect time before the new year.

So the fans may need to wait for a few more months before getting the confirmed release date of the long-awaited and most anticipated GTA 6 game. 2025 will be a massive year for the gaming industry, and already, Assassin's Creed: Shadows is making headlines with its gameplay and performance.
