Marvel Rivals is an upcoming PvP hero shooter set to release on December 6 and is set to compete with Overwatch 2. Ahead of its release, the developers at NetEase are expanding the roster, with the latest addition being Moon Knight. However, the gameplay reveals that Moon Knight might have spoiled the next/future character.

Marvel Rivals already features a lot of characters from the MCU, with new characters expected to be introduced at a steady rate. With popular characters like Iron Man, Rocket Racoon, Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor and others are already present. Hawkeye wasn’t exactly a secret character. However, the way players found out is what’s hilarious.

New Duelist added to Marvel Rivals

Moon Knight will be joining as a Duelist meaning he can dish out some heavy damage to opponents but also needs someone in support due to low health pool. “Mercenary Marc Spector was given a second chance at life when he became the avatar of the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu. In Marvel Rivals, Moon Knight wields these supernatural powers bestowed by Khonshu to vanquish his foes,” the official description says.

Fans have also admired the character design, keeping it as faithful as possible. Of course, players can expect their alternate appearance to be available as microtransactions, but that’s all part of how the live service games work.

The only worry fans currently have is that the company behind Marvel Rivals, NetEase, recently saw two of its senior execs arrested for alleged money laundering. Reports of other staff being involved were also there. Players are hoping that this does not affect the current launch of the game.
