A few days ago, Krafton released a short teaser for the upcoming tournament circuit of 2025 and now a follow-up announcement have revealed the roadmap for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 and the announcement for Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025. This includes registration dates and a prize pool to kick off the 2025 season.
The race for BGIS 2025 will kick off starting January 3, 2025, with registrations. Featuring a prize pool of Rs 2 score and an open invite to anyone who can make it to the finals, the event will kick off BGMI esports next year with LAN Finals taking place in Kolkata.
BGIS 2025 will also cover the first half of the season, followed by the second major tournament by Krafton, BMPS, which will also feature another massive prize pool of Rs 2 crore. This will be an invitation-only tournament featuring the best of the best BGMI teams across India.
Full details regarding both tournaments, including a complete breakdown for the different league matches leading to the semifinals and the grand finals, are also expected to be revealed soon in the coming weeks as the registration for the events kicks off. Registration for these will be on the official Krafton India Esports website.

BGIS and BMPS isn’t the only thing in the 2025 BGMI roadmap
Krafton has also revealed that they will continue their Esports College Campus Tour in order to give more young people a chance to shine. Featuring a prize pool of Rs 2 crore, the initiative will cover a lot of colleges across the country, with each college getting Rs 2 lakh.
“Alongside our flagship events, we are strengthening community engagement through initiatives like the Esports College Campus Tour, which will expand to even more colleges across the country,” said Krafton Associate Director of Esports, Karan Pathak.
Apart from that, BGMI Rising Star program will also return, allowing gamers to grow by helping them in better content creation and live-streaming. “Our Rising Star program represents a pivotal step in spotlighting upcoming Esports talent in the country and providing them the necessary tools to make a mark in the industry,” he added.
