A recently released promotional video for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is now trending among fans for its catch visual effects and a short but fun skit. Starring Pranav ‘Hipzter’ Raj, this new ad campaign mixes 3D VFX from the game into his peaceful life while simply trying to grab a bite at a local food stall.

“We keep finding cool ways to entertain our fans, and this time it’s through hyper-real 3D VFX. It’s unique not just because it’s not done very often, but also because it fits the cultural elements within the BGMI universe very well with its storytelling, live-action cinematography, and an electric soundtrack,” said Srinjoy Das, associate director of marketing at Krafton India.

The brain of BGMI players

While for regular people, the video may seem like a normal promotional campaign for the mobile game, those who play BGMI will know exactly what this was all about. Being in love with a game that you simply start daydreaming is what many fans have experienced at least once.

Relating real-world things to in-game items, and analyzing your gameplay and mistakes of past matches while not playing the game is something everyone does and the new campaign tries to successfully capture the same feeling.

Elsewhere, Krafton recently reported an incredible year in gaming with BGMI also witnessing over 30% increased sales on in-game items. The gameplay aspects aside, these things happen due to this campaign that while being fun, also attracts new players.
