Krafton officially reveals BGMI 3.5 update details in a new podcast

BGMI 3.5 latest update podcast is here with Krafton which revealed details on what’s new. News regarding the update was already floating around, especially after the update dropped on PUBG Mobile sometime earlier. The update brings ‘IceMire Frontier Themed Mode’ and as the name suggests it going to get chilly as the battlefield will be covered in ice.

New hot drops and weapons in BGMI 3.5 Update

Hot drops

• Magical Crystal Cave - A huge network of tunnels where players can jump in and get some incredible loot, however, do be careful as other players will also be looking for loot leading to an intense situation.
• Glacier Village - A frozen village that will be another hot drop with the latest update. Here, players can find a respawn card for their teammates alongside other loot to revive without a respawning tower.

Weapons and Utilities

There are two themed weapons added to the game in the update. The Ice Soul Spear can be used to create a wall cover around the player, while the Ice Soul Hammer also has similar functionality. A new weapon called a smoke grenade launcher is also added to the game which allows players to launch smokes quickly and at a much longer distance. As for utilities, there is an alternative for Med Kits are also added called Frost Dragon’s Elixir which completely restores health and energy.

Frostborne Dragon fight in BGMI

One of the biggest highlights in the BGMI 3.5 update is the Frostborne Dragon which can be accessed through the Winter Gate. Upon entering the gate, players will be teleported into a new area where they can either loot the cave but will have to face four more squads for loot or try to kill the Frostborne Dragon.

Players also don’t need to worry if they miss out on the Winter Gate, as they can create their own using a Dragon’s Horn, which can be found across the themed game mode.

New animal vehicles

An alternative to bikes and cars are also coming in the new update, with Sabretooth Tiger set to become the best way of moving around the map for two players. The Sabretooth travels quite fast and is a great choice to flank enemies.

On the other hand, those who want a chill ride with the squad can go for the Mammoth who despite their looks, they can also travel very fast, although it does have a weakness players can target.
