Liquid cooling systems are common in gaming PCs and especially for intense gamers who build their own. Now Intel has revealed a new water cooler for its CPU instead of IHS and Schlepps coolants. The cooling system has little copper microchannels that will focus on thermal release.

The cooling system will move straight to the points where there will be intense heat and help with the cooling. Intel will now reveal this experimental feature in its new foundry Direct Connect event. This new prototyper is designed for both LGA (land grid array) and BGA (ball grid array). These were all surface mount chips, and Intel will show Core Ultras and the Xeon CPU.
These systems can deal with more than 1000 W of heat. These are similar to the Xeon level rather than the Core Ultra level. The server industry is getting more investments because of the AI boom. So there will be more of such innovations coming in the future.
As Intel has been working on this tech for a long time, they are expected to bring this technology to the mass market soon. Some of their initial research dates back to 2005. We are happy that the consumers get the opportunity to see this new technology.

This new EmCool will be attached to the CPU, and the cooling liquid will flow through micro pins that keep the system cool. There are many hotspots in the RTX 50 series graphics cards, and this liquid will directly flow into them. These tailored cooling systems have great benefits and reportedly improve 20% of cooling performance.
It has tiny fins for better cooling, and this new modder will make the Intel CPU heat spreader into a functional water block with the help of a CNC machine. This new technology will leave a mark on the PC gaming industry if Intel succeeds in this challenge.
