Zombies are coming to GTA Online

GTA 5 recently became the top seller in Europe, and now it seems like the upcoming zombie game mode is one of the reasons. The GTA Online is all set to get zombies game mode as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC. This also comes as part of its seasonal update, and this time centred around Halloween, so Zombies is a perfect fit.

With GTA 6 release planned for Fall 2025, this will also be the last Halloween update for GTA Online. Since Zombies is a highly demanded mode from Fans, it seems Rockstar Games is finally letting players have as much fun as they want before starting a new era of GTA Online.

While there are no details regarding the game mode itself, Rockstar has confirmed players will be returning to North Yankton in the Ludendorff Cemetery area. Speculations are that the game mode will be taking place around there itself, although, an official statement should follow soon.

Taking players back to North Yankton itself will be quite nostalgic, as everyone started their GTA 5 journey in the same place with the opening mission. However, this time, instead of the snowy backdrop, players might find something else.

How can players access the GTA Zombies mode?

Since the upcoming Zombies mode is part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties, players can simply select a survival job from the Rockstar-created section while in GTA Online. Fans believe it will be something similar to the Undead Nightmare from Red Dead Redemption 2.

The release date for the new survival mode is yet to be revealed, but leaks reveal that the game mode is coming very soon, with some claiming it will be available as soon as October 3. The mode will also likely satisfy fans who recently lashed out after Rockstar Games removed multiple game modes a few weeks ago.
