Gen.G Esports continues to dominate VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai, beat Team Heretics in a thrilling final

In the finals of Velorant Champions Tour 2024: Masters Shanghai  Gen.G Esports beat Team Heretics by 3:2 to register their first-ever final win in VCT 2024. Improving from their last-round performance where they lost to Sentinels with a score of 3:2.

The Grand Finale of the event was nothing short of a thriller as both teams displayed some iconic moves and resilience to sail through. However, luck favouring the brave Gen.G Esports clinched the victory as they came out top and lucky at some crucial moments. 

After leading the game by 2:1 Team Heretics failed to hold nerves in last two maps. They lost both crucial maps by a margin of 13-4 and 13-3 making it an easy win for Gen.G who was up to the mark in the last two rounds after failing poorly in the first three games.
