Gamers ask to enter newly discovered Wormhole in Helldivers 2

Almost a week ago, Helldivers 2 players were handed a major order to help Super Earth construct a Centre of Science on Fenrir III to study an anomaly. However, following a successful operation, the anomaly has turned out to be the first ever wormhole. Naturally, gamers are lining up to be the first one to enter a wormhole.

“The project has yielded valuable insights. The singularity is not, as many uninformed laypeople have assumed, a typical black hole. It is, in fact, the first observed instance of a wormhole: a tunnel in spacetime connecting two disparate points in space,” the official statement revealed.

This wormhole appeared following the sudden appearance from the Illuminate; however, more details are yet to be revealed by the developers. The Illuminate are highly advanced squid-like alien species who were previously defeated by humans; however, they have seemingly returned.

Helldivers ready to jump into depths of unknown

Helldivers have once again displayed their dedication to their planet, with the majority volunteering to enter the wormhole. People simply do not want to sit around and wait for something to come out of the wormhole. Rather, the general vote is to enter the wormhole and destroy anything if it's a threat.

“So... we are going to go through the wormhole and liberate whatever we find on the other side. Right? We aren't just going to sit around and wait for what comes out of it. I say we go through it; we go through it NOW, and we kick it in the ass before it is ready to move!” one of the users suggested.

The imagination from gamers is going wild as the people suggest that wormhole opens up a lot of other possibilities for new universes, new factions, or even time travel to a different timeline or to the time when the events of the first game took place. It remains to be seen what the developers have planned.
