Game of Thrones: Kingsroad to release in early access ahead of free-to-play launch

The highly anticipated Online RPG ‘Game of Thrones: Kingsroad’ is set to enter early access starting March 26 across PC and mobile. While the game is meant to launch as a free-to-play title, players will need to purchase one of the early access packs if they want to play as soon as the game releases and get a headstart.

This won’t be the first time a game is bringing paid early access but free launch, however, those who plan to wait out the early access won’t have to wait long. The devs estimate the game to be in early access for just one month. Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is developed by Netmarble, and is a very ambitious project using iconic characters and blending them into an original story.

Here are all the early access packs for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad

Players have an option to choose from three editions of early access. Along with access to the game, all of the packs provide some form of cosmetics and in-game currency which will be the main source of revenue for the game once it goes free to play.

An original story

While the books are quite interesting, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will let players experience a completely new story using a custom character. Players will have the option to choose from three different classes Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin. Each of them has a different gameplay style but players can team up with friends to fill up the need for different classes.
