Pre-orders for Forza Horizon 5 now available Photograph: (Xbox)
Xbox recently announced one of its beloved racing games, Forza Horizon 5, will be coming to PlayStation 5 (PS5) in Spring 2025. Now the company has announced the release date along with a new game mode called “Horizon Realms” and other details. The game will launch on April 29; however, pre-orders are now live.
The game will also feature PS5 trophies so players will have something to look forward to. Pre-orders will receive 5000 Forzathon Points, 5 Backstage Passes, and a 2021 Mercedes-AMG One. This comes as part of Xbox’s move to bring their games across multiple platforms and Forza Horizon 5 is among the ones landing on the PS5 this year.
Forza Horizon 5 pre-orders comes with early access
Three editions of Forza Horizon are available for 5 pre-orders at the PlayStation Store. These are Standard, Delux, and Premium, similar to the PC and Xbox releases. The standard edition costs Rs 3,999 and will only give access to the game on launch and the pre-order bonus.
For Deluxe Edition, players will have to pay Rs 5,399, which doesn’t look like a very beneficial deal for only a Car Pass. The Deluxe edition, on the other hand, will cost Rs 6,599 and will feature VIP Membership, Hot Wheels expansion, Rally Adventure, and early access to the game starting April 25.

Which version of Forza Horizon 5 should you purchase?
Players looking to purchase Forza Horizon 5 on the PS5 don’t need to rush anything unless they want early access. The standard pack only contains the base game, which already has a lot of cars to choose from. The only thing players are missing will be the pre-order rewards. As for the other two editions, the Deluxe edition looks like a good deal but also asks for a hefty price. It should be noted that the DLCs will also be available later as a separate purchase.
