Fortnite fans get first look at Fortnitemares and new SAW collab

Fortnite fans get a first glimpse of characters coming to Fortnitemares in a short teaser, along with a new gameplay leaf featuring Billy the puppet from SAW.

Ahead of the spooky season, Fortnite has now released a first look at the cinematic for Fortnitemares 2024 showcasing all the teased characters along with new additions including Marvel's Mephisto. The short teaser shows the characters having fun craving pumpkin, and fans will not have to wait long as the event starts on October 11.

The teaser sees Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Mephisto, Billy the puppet, and two original characters crave pumpkin, but everything goes wrong as Bubba accidentally runs his chainsaw through the table. Details regarding the event are yet to be revealed.

The announcement comes mere days after the conclusion of Season 5 Chapter 5 which saw the player count reach over 5 million for the live event as players gathered to fight one last battle with Doctor Doom. It was one of the most successful live events in the last few chapters.

Ahead of the spooky season with Fortnitemares, the SAW bundle with Billy is already available in the shop. Players can either purchase the bundle featuring Billy, a saw pickaxe, Billy’s bicycle emote, and weapon wrap for 2,500 V-Bucks or purchase them separately.

Fortnite Leaks suggests fun collab

More leaks for the upcoming SAW collab revealed that Billy will also become available on the map, possibly as an NPC. However, the interaction with him is quite hilarious and unexpected. Instead of playing games, this time Billy wants to destroy everything.

The leaked clip showcases Billy riding his bicycle with ‘Game Over’ written in front, and when he catches someone, he blows himself up. This matches the early leaks regarding Billy as a weapon. More details on this is expected to be revealed soon.
