Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix brings new reload map and music collab with Snoop Dogg

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is here, bringing back the OG Chapter 2 with a host of new additions, hence the name Remix. This is another throwback to the early days of Fortnite, similar to the Fortnite OG. Speaking of remixes, new artist collaborations are here and this time the Doggfather himself is making an appearance along with Eminem, Ice Spice and late rapper Juice WRLD.

One thing to note is that Chapter 2 Remix will be ending on November 30th and players will be going back to the regular season. However, the latest update adds a lot of things, so fans are sure to get lost across various activities. Let’s check out some of the biggest additions to Fortnite update 32.00.

Weekly music artist feature

Each week, the aforementioned artist will make an appearance. Week 1 will see Snoop Dogg, who has changed The Agency compound into The Doggpound. Players can take on Snoop Dogg, who will reward them with his Mythic Drum Gun while also joining players as an ally.

He will also be the featured artist for Fortnite Festival Season 6 and players can get his LBC ‘93 Dogg Outfit from the Music Pass. Week 2 will see Eminem with his Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant inside the Grotto cave. Defeating Eminem will drop his Mythic RG Minigun.

Week 3 will add Ice Spice, who has taken over the Shark Island and transformed it onto neo-lit Ice Isle. Ice Spice will drop two mythic items on defeat, her Grappler and Rifle. As for Week 4, players will see WRLD Point landmark, a tribute to Juice WRLD. Players who log in during the finale will receive Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit for free.

Map changes

With a returning chapter, there is also a returning map, which is also remixed. There are a lot of returning locations from the old map including Lazy Lake, Slurpy Swamp and more. The centre of the map where The Agency used to reside is changed to the Doggpound.

The map is also said to be evolving with the addition of other artist through the chapter. As for the reload game mode, there is also a new map for Fortnite Reload called Oasis with solo mode where players get three respawns.

Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass

Players can also grab the Battle Pass for Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix, featuring returning characters but with multiple changes. Since the season is also shorter, the pass only contains 70 tiers. Sadly, players will have to cough the full price. Thankfully, it does provide the V-Bucks back, so players can get the next pass.
