First week for BGIS 2024 ‘The Grind’ concludes; Day 4 overview

The first week of BGIS 2024 ‘The Grind’ have concluded with teams fighting to secure a good spot in the biggest Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) tournament. Final day of week 1 saw Team SouL dominate group 7 while matches in group 8 were highly competitive between new and seasoned teams.

Group 7 overview

Team SouL already started strong with securing second spot in the first match. RIP MIZO also performed great, securing them a victory. The following match saw SouL in the same form once again and this time the team managed to secure the top spot.

MIZO on the other hand secured fourth spot. The streak went on as SouL also dominated the final match, leading to an easy victory and securing top spot on the leaderboard with a large margin.

Group 8 overview

The final group for week 1 saw some intense power struggle. Believer Esports secured the first map with a decent amount of points, however, the team did not manage to score a single point after that. The next two wins were instead secured by Python gaming, who also secured top spot on the leaderboard.

Xnor Esports also performed great while Team 8bit was carried entirely by their finisher point which was a very commendable feat. However, there were some teams, including 8bit in group 8 claiming there were server issues, although, the organizers have initially refused any rematch.
