The third day for The Grind did not disappoint, with new teams stepping up their performance and proving their worth in the tournament. These teams are able to go head-to-head, challenging some well-known teams in their field of expertise.

Newbies dominate Group 5 matches

Group 5 saw some new names taking the lead with all three matches. Jux Esports especially had a very good run with multiple top 5 finishes in the first two maps and a win in the final map with a decent amount of finishes landing them on top of the scoreboard.

Chemin had a good lead in match one but was not able to perform well after the teams started meeting up in the closing circle. The subsequent matches saw improvement in ranking, however, no chicken dinner. Reckoning Esports also raked up multiple finishes, however the team was not able to secure a win.

No1eSports gave a very good challenge to the team, landing in the top three in all the matches. If the team had been able to secure a win, it would undoubtedly be the top team on the leaderboard. Their performance also shows how new teams are ready to take on the veterans on a competitive level.
