FaZe Clan and Team Spirit are the next two teams to enter ESL Pro League Playoffs

Following NaVi and G2, two more teams have now made their way into the ESL Pro League Season 20 Playoffs. Faze Clan and Team Spirit are our first two teams to make their way through the middle bracket, with Faze getting their payback against Sangal Esports and Team Spirit sending 3DMAX in the lower bracket finals.

The initial loss for Faze Clan did come as a surprise, but the team managed to get up in the middle bracket. Luckily, they also got to face their rivals in the process and the team did not lose their chance and secured a flawless victory.

The opening match was once again Anubis, a match where Faze was previously dominated by Sangal. This time, however, the old tricks did not work, as Faze managed to keep up. Both teams saw an equal score till ropz stepped in to clutch a very crucial round that led to the team’s victory.

With the hurdle now crossed, Faze went on to obliterate their competition in their map pick, only giving five rounds to Sangal and move on to the playoffs. They won’t be in higher seeds, but it's a start.

Team Spirit sends 3DMAX against their rivals

While the sailing was relatively smooth for Faze, Team Spirit started with a loss on the same map, securing only 6 round in the process. However, the team was quick to return the favour in the following match and dominated 3DMAX in the decider game.

3DMAX will now face The MongolZ in the lower bracket in a do-or-die match. The team previously took them down without any issues. It remains to be seen if they will keep up their streak, or will the team return home after losing a crucial match.
