Warner Bros recently gave fans a first look at the live-action movie best-selling video game of all time, Minecraft. Featuring Jack as Steve and Jason Momoa as Garrett Garrison alongside others, the movie is set to release next year in April, so, understandably, Warner Bros is giving people something to create hype.
“Four misfits find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they'll have to master this world while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter, Steve,” the official description wrote.
The short teaser showcases Momoa and others landing in the world of Minecraft through a portal and meeting Steve. As expected, it is a Minecraft world from the game, given that players have installed shaders and cranked up the RTX. From Piglins to Zombies and even creepers can be seen in the trailer alongside the large blocky world. As of now, it seems that the movie is doing its own thing, similar to the Halo TV Show.
