The Xbox Developer Direct revealed more details regarding Doom: The Dark Ages, Including The release date, which was leaked a few days ago. Along with the release date of May 15, the game also received a new gameplay trailer. Microsoft previously confirmed they are moving away from exclusives, so the game will also launch on the PlayStation 5.
As one would have expected the trailer showcased good old demon hunting by the hands of the Slayer. There is a lot of new stuff including a mech dragon and the ability to pilot a giant mech that has everyone excited. There are also new weapons and glory finishes.
One thing that may not sit well with players might be the PC requirements. The game can be demanding, especially for those playing on older graphics cards. This can be a bummer for those who enjoyed Doom on Nvidia 10 or 16 series GPU. Recently releases from Microsoft are demanding RTX-capable GPUs.
