Sara Tendulkar has always had a strong bond with cricket, not just because she is the daughter of cricket great Sachin Tendulkar but also because the game was a big part of her upbringing.  As she joins the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation and the e-Cricket ecosystem, a place that combines tradition and technology, she is now starting to plot her course.

The founder and CEO of JetSynthesys, Rajan Navani, had a rare public discussion with Sara at the Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL) event in Bengaluru. She talked about why she thinks cricket is important and how its digital transformation may lead to whole new methods of engaging with the next generation.

This time, Sara isn't only observing from the stands; cricket is both a memory and an identity for her.   Sara expressed this when speaking with JetSynthesys CEO Rajan Navani. "Cricket has always been more than a sport in my home. Maybe it really does run in my DNA."

She responded to a question about what motivated her to acquire the Mumbai team in the league.   “Mumbai is the city I was born in, it’s my home. So there’s something very special about being able to represent it. It’s not just about being part of a new format — it’s also about taking the game forward in a way that makes sense for today’s world.”
