Single-player campaign for Delta Force releasing next week

Team Jade’s single-player campaign for Delta Force (Black Hawk Down) has got a new teaser and a release date. Originally planned to launch with the multiplayer back in 2024, the campaign for Black Hawk Down was delayed with no release date in sight. Gamers will finally be able to get their hands on the campaign on February 21.

The multiplayer aspect of Delta Force saw some controversy regarding the kernel-level anti-cheat on launch and players complaining about clunky gameplay. As of now, the game sits at a mixed rating and an average player count of 100,000 since launch.

Since its release, the game has been compared to EA’s Battlefield franchise, especially Battlefield 2042. However, instead of multiplayer only, the also features a campaign that will allow players to experience Black Hawk Down (story), either solo or co-op with friends, more details to be revealed soon.

Steady player count despite hitches in launch

The multiplayer can be enjoyable for most people despite some complaints regarding gameplay mechanics. While the game may look the same as its competitors like Call of Duty or Battlefield, it’s plenty different and aims to provide a unique experience.

The upcoming campaign might spark more interest from players if it hits the mark. Players waiting for the campaign have high expectations for the remake of a legendary story. If Team Jade hits the mark, it will open up a lot of opportunities.

Is Delta Force Black Hawk Down free?

The base game for Delta Force which provides players access to all multiplayer features is free, however, this won’t be the case for the Black Hawk Down campaign. To experience the story, players will have to make a purchase, probably a DLC for the access. Currently, there is no news regarding what Tencent or Team Jade has decided on the launch price of the story campaign.
