One of the biggest esports titles, Counter-Strike, is now 25 but the fans have got nothing? With the game turning 25, there was a tweet on X by the official CS account reminding everyone that they do remember the occasion. “Happy 25th birthday to the greatest video game ever made, Counter-Strike,” it said.
“A Half-Life mod which has spawned communities created memories and established the greatest esports of them all. We're grateful to have the most passionate players in gaming. Here's to 25 more!” the statement further added.

A Few are still holding on, saying that the day isn’t over yet and Valve has been fashionably late in doing things when it comes to Counter-Strike, which might be true as the post was made at 12 AM. However, given the history of Valve, a majority of players aren’t confident that the update will drop today itself. It might come later on, but the chances for an operation look slim.
