North American Counter-Strike is alive and well as Complexity takes down star-studded Team Falcons at the ESL Challenger Jönköping for DreamHack Summer 2024. Alongside the prize, the team also swooped a good chunk of BLAST Points.

While the event did shoot the team up quite a bit on the BLAST leaderboard, there is still a long way to go if Complexity plans to qualify for the BLAST World Finals through the leaderboard points. Apart from that, the team also has a chance to qualify for the remaining events like IEM Cologne and BLAST Fall Finals.

Slow start for Complexity at Grand Finals

Complexity did manage to clean sweep the Falcons, it wasn't an easy climb victory. The opening match started as bad as it could for Complexity on Vertigo, with the team only managing four rounds in the first half. To make up for that, they held an ironclad defence, stopping Team Falcons round after round.

At the moment, it was hard to believe fans were watching the same team from the first half. The match ended with a 13-10 scoreline in favour of Complexity. The second map saw the team starting great in the first half and while Falcons also secured a decent amount of rounds, Complexity kept the ball rolling.

EliGE in particular has been a cornerstone for Complexity for the entire tournament, with backup from other team members. The semifinals against Aurora Gaming, another team that saw a great impact on the event, saw EliGE drop 56 kills, while the grand finals against Falcons also saw him secure 40 kills.

All in all, Complexity dropped only a single match during the group stage against ENCE. Team Falconson the other hand have failed to find success for a long time despite having multi-major winning players like dupreeh and Magisk.
