The Call of Duty (COD) Mobile team for GodLike Esports will soon be off to Atlanta and will be competing at the COD Mobile World Championship 2024. Making their way into the championship, the team is looking to take revenge and realize the dream that they missed last year.
GodLike recently competed at the Summer Invitational in Chengdu, however, the results were not as favourable as fans would have wanted. The team was eliminated in the 7th-8th spot against Elevate in the lower brackets of the Playoffs.
The team, however, has got a golden opportunity to make things right as their first match in the World Championship is against Elevate. This allows the team to redeem themselves for their previous loss, as the hopes of many fans lie on their shoulders.
Another team representing India, who is also aiming for the championship, is Team Vitality who have displayed an impressive performance across COD tournaments this year. In order to qualify for the World Championship, Team Vitality took down GodLike during the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 5.

While the battle was nothing short of intense, Vitality managed to come out on top in a decisive best-of-three. The team also displayed a much better performance during the COD Mobile Summer Invitational and is likely aiming to give a good challenge to the other team in the World Championship.
COD Mobile World Championship format
Sixteen teams who qualified for the World Championship will kick off the tournament in Atlanta with a Swiss System Format. The first round of the event is based on random selection, however, the following 2–5 rounds will see matches based on wins and losses. A team with three wins will qualify directly to the Playoffs while a team with three losses will face early elimination.
