After struggling in the group stage matches, GodLike has been knocked out of the ongoing CoD Mobile Summer Invitational 2024. The team matched with Elevate in the lower bracket of the knockout stage and faced a crushing defeat that ended their run for the $70,000 tournament, leaving only one Indian CoD Mobile team at the event.

The opening match was Hardpoint on Summit and while GodLike was managing to set a decent amount of kill count, it was all about holding the points which Elevate had on a tight lockdown. At times, GodLike were able to take over, but either could not last long or was at the few moments before the zone switched.

After a disappointing start, GodLike started picking up pace in the following map, this time in search and destroy on Firing Range. This is considered their best map, and the team were afraid to show why. Elevate also did not give up easily and gave their opponent a good fight, but the match ultimately went to GodLike, equalizing the score.

However, this did not last long as Elevate took back-to-back matches to secure the best of three. The following two rounds saw Elevate take down GodLike in Control and another match of Hardpoint. A huge disappointment for GodLike, but both teams were fighting to survive.

Team Vitality also not looking good

Following an incredible run in the group stage of the CoD Mobile Summer Invitational, Team Vitality also saw a crushing defeat by the hands of XROCK. With three back-to-back losses, Vitality have now dropped to the lower brackets and will now face Stand Point Gaming for survival.

The first round saw all teams play in a best-of-five format. Moving forward, all matches will be best of seven, giving the competing teams a better chance to make a comeback.
