Another big upset for the Indian COD Mobile community, as GodLike Esports has now been eliminated from the ongoing CODM World Championship. This comes a day after Team Vitality returned home from the Swiss Stage. With both team returning home, Indiaβs journey at the World Championship ends much earlier this year.
The competition itself was much tougher this year, with top teams swapping roster. Despite that, GodLike gave a good fight and will be returning home in the top five spot alongside Stalwart Esports, Luminosity Gaming and Wolves.

A dominating performance by XROCK
The Quarterfinals and Semifinals were all set to be best of five, however, GodLike faced a crushing defeat and were unable to secure even a single match in the series. Starting with hardpoint, GodLike lost with a 50 point difference.
The following two games also saw a similar pattern, with the team first facing a 1-7 loss in Search & Destroy and a 1-3 loss in Control. XROCK on the other hand was fully in sync with players ready to counter their opponents.
GodLike has been one of the most popular COD Mobile team, but with their rivals switching up the game, it remains to be seen if GodLike will also make some changes to their roster or return of some of the older names.

Both XROCK and Elevate are looking like a solid competitor for the grand finals, with one of them likely to take home the championship trophy along with $400,000 prize. Elevate recently secured CODM Summer Invitational 2024 while XROCK secured both China Masters 2024 Season 7 and Season 8 Championship this year.
