Who needs external cheats when the latest Call of Duty allow you to have them internally inside the game? The introduction of Combat Specialities in Black Ops 6 added a peculiar perk, ‘Recon’. On the surface, this perk only works for a few seconds after respawning, but in reality, things are a lot more chaotic and fans are frustrated.

The description for Recon Combat Speciality says, “Enemies can be seen through walls for a short time after respawn; a HUD edge indicator flashes when an enemy is outside your view; leave no death skulls when killing enemies.”

Only the first part of this perk is causing the issue despite being active for a few seconds as players are able to know the locations of opponents through walls. Do note that this is the intended purpose, however, since this is a COD game and players can shoot through most walls, it is being used for an advantage to get multiple kills.

Players who die to this were previously left confused with new players, even mistaking this as cheats. Needless to say, a lot of people are not happy with this perk, with many asking the developers for it to be removed. Others who are having fun before it is nerfed or changes are introduced. Players can have the ability active by equipping three blue perks in loadout.
