Activision is now planning to rope in the few remaining players into buying Call of Duty Black Ops 6 with an entire free week trial for multiplayer. The game was already available on the 'game pass' and saw millions logging in. However, to those who are yet to try out the game, now is a great chance.

As per the official reveal from COD account, the free week begins starting December 13 next week and will be available till December 20. During this time, players will be able to access various multiplayer aspects of the game, including zombies.

Players will be able to check out six maps, on which they can play five of the most popular game modes in COD. There is also Prop Hunt mode that was added with the recent Season 1 update which will also be available along with Zombies mode on both Liberty Falls and Terminus maps.

Will players keep account progress after Black Ops 6 trial?

While players will be able to try the game to the fullest for an entire week, it is currently unknown if the accumulated XP and progress will be saved or not. The general idea here is to get players hooked on Black Ops 6 and try to entice them in buying the game or Game Pass subscription.

In order to do that, and make the entire week worth of grind mean something, it is likely that the progress will be retained by their Activision account and players will be able to continue the grind from the same point whenever they plan on getting back. Furthermore, the campaign which was highly praised is not available in the trial.

This comes as a decent make-up after the company reportedly tried to gaslight the community regarding an issue with hit registration in Black Ops 6. The support called it ‘erroneous visual blood effects’ while it was actually an issue with hit registration.
