Activision has now revealed an upcoming collab with popular Netflix show Squid Game in a short teaser. This will be the first ever collab in Black Ops 6 and fans are hoping for at least one of the themed game mode from the TV show. Fans also don’t have to wait much, as the collab is set to land in January 2025.
The teaser also does not give away much info or anything else regarding this collab, only a COD operator who was shown picking up the invitation card for Squid Game. This was one of the reason in which fans presume there will be similar game modes, however, there is now solid date or guarantee if new game modes will be added. The collab also comes as part of promotion for Squid Game 2.
For those unaware, the premise of Squid Game is to survive different challenges for a huge amount of cash. However, the drawback being if a person loses, they are eliminated in the process. Some of the fans even notice that the operator who picked up the card was Asian, which they found quite hilarious as the series was made in South Korea.
