Carnival Gaming and Team Soul eliminated from BMPS 2024

One of the biggest fears of fans has now been realized as Carnival Gaming and Team Soul bid farewell to the BMPS. This came following a string of upsets both teams faced across eight matches at BMPS Round 3. Despite a reshuffle between the groups, both Carnival Gaming and Team Soul failed to match up to their opponents.

Both teams saw the addition of a new player right before the tournament. Carnival Gaming added Shogun from Mogo Esports, while Team Soul acquired NinjaJOD from Team XSpark. While both of these players are considered one of the best, adjusting to a new team with different play styles isn’t as easy.

Speaking of Mogo Esports and Team XSpark, both have managed to secure a spot in the semifinals after ending up in the top 24. The final day saw Mogo with their first chicken dinner, which may have been the most important win for them this year.

Underdogs teams surprise fans.

While a few of the fan favourites like 8Bit, GodLike and TWOB also made it to the semifinals, the real star of BMPS Round 2 remained the underdogs. Teams like Silly Esports, Ignite Gaming, Inferno Squad and others gave a strong challenge to the veterans.

Team Versatile managed to secure a second spot, however, they aren’t an underdog as the team consists of the older roster of Entity. Numen Gaming which also contains former pros managed to secure three chicken dinners, landing them in the top five.
