GodL Punk talks about Team Soul (Image - Instagram)
In a recent stream, GodLike Punk was questioned by fans regarding their decision not to target Team Soul during BMPS Round 2 to try and prevent them from qualifying. A quick reminder for those who aren’t aware, but, Round 2 for BMPS saw GodLike dominate their opponents to secure the highest score on the leaderboard.
Responding to this query, GodL Punk had a great response from the fans. “Bhai target kr k kya milega?”, Punk asked, saying they are there to prove themselves and not try to belittle other teams. Furthermore, Punk said he has a lot of respect for Team Soul in general.
Punk said they are not different between any teams and do not think of eliminating anyone early on to gain an advantage in later rounds as it takes away the thrill from the game. With how well the team has been performing, Punk also wants to compete against them in the higher rounds.

Team Soul did not have a great start in BMPS Round 2 and only secured 10 points on the opening day. This was likely due to the addition of NinjaJOD who joined the team right before the tournament. However, the team did manage to make a comeback on the second day and qualify for Round 3, but Team Soul did not secure any chicken dinners.
Team Soul always recovers.
Fans of Team Soul have already noticed a pattern for a long time now. The team started with slow games at the BGMS Season 3 before ultimately securing the championship trophy. BGIS also saw the team with a comeback and while they were not at the top, they did manage to end up in the top five.
Most recently, they faced a similar situation where the opening matches for Round 3 did not turn out well for Team Soul. Following some genuine concern from some fans, and reassurance from Soul Sid, the team have managed to pull another miracle. A similar performance on the last day will secure them the semifinals at BMPS 2024.
