Bollywood star Akshay Kumar set to attend invite only event for FAU-G Domination

FAU-G Domination is an upcoming PvP game developed by Indian game developers. The trailer for the game dropped almost a year ago and the release is getting closer. Ahead of that, reports suggest that popular Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will attend an invite-only event hosted by the devs to have a first look at the game.

As per sources of Max Level IGC, the actor will be attending the event alongside other big names in the India Gaming industry. These include senior execs from Dot9 and nCore, the developers of FAU-G Domination, Nazara, one of the largest gaming companies and publisher of FAU-G in India.

Fearless and United: Guards or FAU-G was a made-in-India video game project officially announced after PUBG Mobile was banned by the government. At the time of its first release, the game was ‘overhyped’ and was much more different than fan expectations.

Players originally believed it was going to be released as a replacement for PUBG Mobile but was originally a single-player game. Needless to say, the esports-crazed gaming audience were disappointed and the game was soon canned for its next iteration, FAU-G Domination.

What is FAU-G Domination?

While the name may seem similar to the original FAU-G, it has seen a total revamp and made into a PvP FPS arena shooter. Those who have played Counter-Strike on PC or Critical Strike/Standoff on mobile games will see a striking resemblance.

The trailer showcased gameplay and customization while the official website reveals that the game will be released with multiple modes. These are Armsrace, Deathmatch, Sniper, 1v1, 2v2 and 5v5. There are also multiple operators to choose from with each bringing different abilities.

While the concept of bringing unique characters with abilities into a mobile PvP arena shooter is interesting, its success will depend on many factors. Important ones include server stability and a fun gameplay loop that keeps the players engaged.
