Akshay Kumar, Rishabh Pant and other stars set to appear on Shikhar Dhawan's chat show on JioCinema Premium

India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is set to make an entry in the Television world with his new chat show, 'Dhawan Karenge' streaming on JioCinema Premium on May 20th. The 38-year-old opening batter will make a debut in hosting which is a completely different field from what he does regularly. The premium plans to watch the show start at Rs. 29 per month and will feature Dhawan in a fresh role, engaging in unfiltered conversations and fun game segments with guests such as Akshay Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, Taapsee Pannu, Bhuvan Bam, and Rishabh Pant.

The promo of the show was released on JioCinema's social media handle where the guests seemed engaging in fun conversations, sharing behind-the-scene moments, featuring interactive segments such as shayari banters and playful recreations of Dhawan's iconic poses.

Moreover, the show is curated and produced by One Digital Entertainment which will surely entertain the audience since the guests will go down memory lane and share their experiences in their respective fields. Dhawan is also excited to host the show for the first time and will be hoping to entertain the audience. 

Punjab Kings' IPL 2024 journey comes to an end

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 hasn't been good for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) as they are eliminated from the playoffs race. Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan was the captain of the PBKS team, however, they due to an injury he had to miss the rest of the IPL matches. In place of him, English all-rounder Sam Curran was handed the responsibility of captaincy.

Nevertheless, the team couldn't manage to win a lot of their games and were disqualified from the tournament. In 13 matches, they have won only five games and are in the ninth position of the points table. Moreover, PBKS will be hopeful of making a strong comeback in the next IPL season.
