Blizzard Entertainment and Grinding Gear Games declined to comment on Elon Musk's account boost

Both Grinding Gear Games and Blizzard have declined to comment on rumors that Elon Musk's Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 accounts have been enhanced. The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla has often discussed his passion for video games in recent years, sharing anecdotes about how much time he spends playing games like Diablo and Elden Ring. 

On multiple occasions, Musk has even claimed to be an exceptionally good gamer, claiming that he was ranked 19th on the global leaderboard for Diablo 4.  However, recent allegations have cast doubt on Musk's gaming skills. Fans around the world have questioned Elon Musk's real abilities, even though he frequently livestreams himself playing video games. 

Through his broadcasts, fans have regularly criticized Musk's gameplay and comprehension, with many asserting that despite his high ranking in Path of Exile 2,  Musk lacks a fundamental knowledge of the game's principles. According to reports Musk has paid to have his accounts "boosted" on Path of Exile and Diablo 4. Many people are demanding his account suspension. Grinding Gear Games and Blizzard are now refusing to comment on the matter. 

Elon Musk made significant contributions to the development of AI in gaming

As per reports, there was an investigation at Blizzard and Grinding Gears Games but they did not disclose if the developers are planning to take action against Elon Musk.  Blizzard said in the investigation that it does not comment publicly on "individual player enforcement," so fans might have to wait to see what happened to Musk's Diablo 4 account. Account boosting is expressly prohibited by the terms of service of both Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2, and violating them might result in suspensions or even account termination.

Although some have questioned Elon Musk's ability to play at a high level, the billionaire tycoon has frequently sought to become even more involved in gaming. Musk has also made significant contributions to the development of AI in gaming, indicating that he was considering launching an AI game studio. It doesn't appear like Elon Musk's contentious reputation in the gaming industry will be fading anytime soon.
