Black Myth Wukong bags 2024 Steam Awards; Check out all winners

The final results for 2024 Steam Awards are in, and as most expected Black Myth Wukong bagged the Game of The Year award, presumably by a landslide. The game was one of the biggest releases of 2024 and made an appearance across various award shows. It also won the Player’s Voice award during the game awards.

Currently, the game sits at a 98% positive rating from gamers in Steam, and while it had a bit of a controversial launch, the game itself is good. Apart from some gamers complaining about optimization issues, there weren’t many complaints regarding gameplay. Along with GOTY, there are 10 more categories celebrating every possible genre of games released in 2024.

Categories like Labor of Love and Outstanding Visual Style saw some fierce competition, with each game bringing something new to the table. Elden Ring took the Labor of Love award, but the category also saw games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Stardew Valley. Konami and Blobber Team’s Silent Hill 2 secured the Outstanding Visual Style featured, but games like Hades 2 and Metaphor: ReFantazio were also a great competitor.
